Instione is designed to serve anything from a five-student coaching centre to a large institution. This page is for bigger organisations, so it is important to be straightforward about what is ready today and what is not. Instione today manages admissions, student and staff records, courses, batches, enrolment and fees. It is not yet a full learning-management or examination system, and we do not claim it is.
Many branches under one roof
Campuses, centres or departments are modelled as branches. Every record belongs to a branch, and each user sees only the branches they have been given. A head office can switch between branches from one login, while a campus administrator sees only their own. You can copy a course catalogue from one branch to another and publish later changes, so programmes stay consistent without being retyped.
Roles and permissions you can explain
Access is role-based. You can give an admissions officer access to leads and enrolment, an accounts officer access to fees, and a department head access to their own batches. Every request is checked on the server, not just hidden in the screen, which matters when many staff share a system. Admin-created accounts with temporary passwords keep onboarding controlled.
Students, enrolment and fees in one place
Each person has a single profile, whether student, instructor or staff. Students are enrolled into batches, and fee payments are recorded with sequentially numbered receipts, refunds and credit notes. The ledger reconciles, which gives your accounts team a record they can audit. A dashboard summarises admissions and collections.
The Institution plan
Larger institutions can move to the Institution plan: single sign-on (SSO), many branches at scale, data migration and onboarding help, priority support, and additional modules as they ship. SSO and migration are arranged on request, so talk to us about what you need and we will tell you plainly whether it fits.
