Run every branch from one account

An institute that opens a second location should not have to start from scratch. Instione is built so that one branch, or many, use the same system with the data kept apart.

One account, many branches

If you have access to more than one branch, a branch switcher lets you move between them. The screens then show only that branch’s information, so there is no confusion about whose students or fees you are looking at.

Data stays in its branch

Every record belongs to a branch: people, batches, enrolments, fees and leads. A front-desk person at one branch works only with that branch’s records. This is enforced by the server on every request, not just hidden in the screen, so a missing filter cannot leak one branch’s data to another.

Reuse your courses

Building the same catalogue twice is wasteful. You can copy a course from one branch to another, and when you improve the original you can publish those changes to the copies. New institutes can also begin from a starter set of courses for their type of institute. See the course catalogue for how courses are structured.

Access follows the person

People are given access to specific branches. Someone who manages two branches can switch between them, while a counsellor at a third sees only their own. Combined with roles and permissions, you decide both what a person can do and where.

Start small, grow later

A single-branch institute simply uses one branch and never has to think about this. If you open another location later, you add it and assign people, rather than moving to new software.

Honest limits

Each branch works fully on its own today, with its own students, batches and fees. If your setup depends on a single combined view across branches, ask us before you rely on it.
